Hello guy's new member here and im a new desktop fanatic lol. I've been using a laptop for like 5yrs to play games and it sucks coz im always LAG !! so im trying to build my own desktop but i don't have any experience on building a computer and so i found this site Cyberpowerpc.com / ibuypower.com which you can customize your system. So here's my questions :)) 1. Is it better to build my own computer? [No experience on building a computer] 2. Is Cyberpowerpc and ibuypower is a good place to go? 3. Is Windows 7 is the best for gaming? This is what im trying to get. [Correct me if i got bad build xD] [Budget $1300] CPU: i5-3570k Mobo: Gigabyte z77x-D3H GPU: AMD Radeon 7870 Case: Haf 912 PSU: Corsair Cx600 V2 SSD: Corsair 128GB GS Series HDD: 1TB SATA-lll 7200RPM Cooler: Cooler master V6 Mem: 8gb[4x2] Corsair Veg Window 7 [Total $1328 with $20 Rebate so Grand total is $1308] Thanks in advance :))

1. Yes 2. It's ok if you don't want to build 3. Windows 7 and 8 have identical performance in games. I would go with the 7870 XT, it's on sale for $250 and it outperforms the 660 Ti at stock, and is identical to the stock 7950 when overclocked. Any reason why you went with the HAF 912? It's kind of an old, ugly case IMO. The CX line has a history of coil whine, go with the Capstone-450. Samsung 840 is a better, cheaper SSD. NZXT's Havik 140 is a much better cooler than the V6 and it's only $60. Everything else looks great.

There are lots of guides on the internet and youtube. This one is pretty good and it's split up into short 10 min vids. How To Build A Computer Part 1: Intro - YouTube

Nice Video !! BTW so 120gb Samsung 840 Series SSD + 1TB HDD is good enough? At cyberpowerpc they dont have that NZXT's Havik 140, so now im looking at Asetek 570LX Liquid Cooling system w/ 240MM Radiator and Dual Fans, how about that? Thanks :D

Yea that'll be enough unless you're storing 50 10GB games. Meh, I'm not a fan of CLC. I would go with the V6 unless the Asetek is cheaper. If there's a stock cooling option, go with the stock cooler and buy a NZXT Havik from Amazon or Newegg.

Aftermarket air coolers in general are not easy to install.
