  • New PC - Gaming

New PC for Gamin, Programming, Video etc. etc.

I am planning to buy a new PC in the next 1 to 3 months. I was checking the net but haven't found that much of info, actually I did but was somehow old. I know about hardware but i haven't been following up with the hardware scene for quite a while so i would like to get your honest opinion about the future PC. There is no hardware that i have selected only the 2 3 configurations that i found online

the 3000 $ Best Gaming PC Computer Builds | Custom PC Review

and this one Updated: The best high-end gaming PC you can build today

and i also checked the configuration on this forum http://www.forums.custompcreview.com...y-gaming-1436/

so my budget range is < 4000 $

I would also like to say i need 2 to 3 monitors, and would need advice on that too which monitor to buy combine etc. In case there is something more you would like to know please let me know.

    Sincerely

Hmm... I'd suggest you wait until you're ready to buy before you research too much into setups. Not to discourage you or anything, but there's a lot of new stuff coming in the next couple months, so a build you setup today is probably going to be different from a build for 2-3 months later.

At this moment with your budget, you're probably looking at an X79 build with the i7 3930K. I'll be updating those builds soon though, so stay tuned for that.

It's pretty hard to say how long you should wait, but I generally don't play the waiting game since then you'll be waiting forever haha.

Currently, SB-E is the top of the line consumer CPU and is expected to be until Q3 this year when Ivy Bridge E comes out so you're safe on that. As for the graphics card, I think both Nvidia and AMD should be coming out with something new in the next 3 months or so. Haswell should also be showing up in the next couple months, but I'm not sure if it'll be more powerful than SB-E as it'll be something more oriented for the mainstream market.

I played the waiting game for 2 years lol until I decided to pull the trigger.
But Haswell is the exception, because it will have integrated VRMs and a brand new socket. It's dubbed "an overclocker's dream" so just wait for Haswell.

              lets start from this setup

Best Gaming/Streaming/Recording PC Build Under $2,000 [March 2013] | Custom PC Review

I would like to change the graphic card and remove some other parts and perhaps check whats up with the motherboard the you chose is ok ?

give me a hint what are some of the parts i could change etc... my thought was remove the capture card and add the 680 graphics any other thoughts are welcome as well maybe i should w8 a bit more ;D ?

              thanks in advance

              Edit:

also the Hard disk , SSD , maybe the samsung one ?

Monitor: i thought of going with 2 24 inch Dell UltraSharps just which ones 2412 or 2413 as i said ill be doing Web, and some low graphic design meaning not too much 3D, im planing on game design for phones, and consoles am an indie game developer ;D

so aside of te main components the monitors should also be nice lets say. keyboard mouse some nice gamer ones ;D if there is anything else i should let you know please tell me

Build looks great. Either the GTX 670 or GTX 680 will work great. Since you're getting 24" monitors, I think the GTX 670 will be better value. Of course, the GTX 680 will be slightly faster.
