    Just saw this, was going to send you a message,

    how do i update it,
    do i need another boot drive?
    and will my data be lost?

    You update it by using that OCZ Toolbox utility. I'd have to data imaged somewhere since with all firmware updates and such you might lose your data. That said, if you already have FW v1.4, this should not happen. It's up to you if you wanna do the gamble :P
