ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II $419.99

Looks like Asus just launched their GTX 670 DirectCU II card either today or yesterday for $419.99, just saw it pop up on newegg randomly with no reviews yet & in stock lol. Looks like a nice alternative to the Gigabyte 670 Triple fan, not sure which runs cooler, but Asus is famous for this design and I would like to think that this is one of the best looking 670's out there at the moment for only a $20 difference.

ahh awesome card, but the fact it's tripple slot really limits my ability to use it, i could fit tripple sli in this board but with tripple slot means i might not be able to use my sound card, why the duel slot version of this card seemed like a better option.

Actually, I just matched the model # from Newegg to the Asus website, and this appears to be the dual slot version.

Yea my galaxy 670 is a constant 80 celsius on load and is admittedly a little more noisy than id like, if this asus card turns out to run cool with less noise id probably exchange for it in a heartbeat. For some reason the gigabyte triple fan has been getting alot of negative reviews for crashing and locking up during use, I guess might be because of the factory OC but im pretty sure this Asus model comes with no pre ocing at all

Yea it runs excellent though idk if 80c is something to worry about but you can't hear its fan over game audio but if you take headphones off you can hear a little coil squeak and that woosh of air
