That ASUS GTX 670 DC2 gets my vote for the better deal. You're looking at the one below, right?
Asus Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP Graphics Card: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
Hey guys, I'm really stuck with the choice for a graphic card. I want a graphic card with the performance of at least the HD 7950. There are so many brands out there, I really have no idea what to choose. I was looking at the Asus GTX 670 DC2T before, but heard somewhere factory overclocked graphic cards don't give more bang for buck. I was also looking at the Powercolor HD7970 3GB, which is around €10 more expensive than the Asus GTX 670. What do you guys think? Which high end graphic card will give you the most bang for buck?

Yea, either that Asus card or the EVGA Gtx 670 FTW, both great cards but the Asus Top has a higher OC and probably better cooling as well.
i say a 7970 is well worth it's money, i wouldn't normally say this but it will whoop a 680's ass, not at stock clocks tough..
i've heard almost every 7970 easily hit their limit of 1125mhz, and thats from a stock clock of 925Mhz...
and it's memmory is very similar too from a 1375Mhz to 1575Mhz
now, you can still get the 670 if you want but a 7970 has more nerd cred plus i think it's slighly better bang for your buck
I am pretty sure that the 670 has better price/performance than 7970.
Its pretty close but I'd go with the 670 since they're efficient and you get a better piece of mind with drivers, dont think I can go back to amd after getting a bsod everyday and other random glitchy things happening, have had 0 issues with both my 670s thx God lol

I am also in the hunt for a gpu upgrade from my current 6870 1gb. I'm bouncing around between either getting the Sapphire 7950 OC 3GB 384bit Amazon.com: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5 HDMI/DVI-I/Dual Mini DP PCI-Express OC version or the 670 FTW Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX670 FTW 2048MB GDDR5 256bit, Dual Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, 4-Way SLI Ready
I figure the 7950 is better bang for the price while I may have heard 670 FTW outperforms the 7950 in several games, I think the 7950 is only a notch down below the 670. From the bench marks I've seen between 7950 and 670, the 670 has a slight edge in performance. But overall, I am currently leaning on getting the 7950, even with the potential driver problems. I think the 7950 gpu has a better cooling design than the 670 FTW. Is the 670 FTW a better long term investment than the 7950 OC 3gb? Bottom line, even with a small price difference between the two gpus, I am more intrigued in the overall design of the 7950 gpu than the 670 ftw gpu. It feels like I am buying the 7950 only because of its looks, but I am aware of sapphire's reputation.![]()
Yeah, depends on the game, but overall from what I've seen, the GTX 670 is a better buy.

Grab the Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX670 FTW 2048MB GDDR5 256bit, Dual Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, 4-Way SLI Ready Graphics Card Graphics Cards 02G-P4-2678-KR: Electronics. The FTW edition uses the GTX 680's beefier cooler instead of the retarded reference GTX 670 one.
After rebate it's only $20 more than the 7950 and you also get EVGA's awesome warranty.

All right, thanks everyone, the gtx 670 it is =)
I'd hold off, because like many people have noted, the 680 chip was meant to be the 650
so like me any thousands of others i'll be waiting a couple of months to see the actual 670/680...
How can the second higest flagship card be like 4-5" in length it's insane
just look at this, how can you make a card this small..

So if you are smart and don't mind waiting and getting a better investment, just hold off on the GPU for a litle...
