Yeah, this build looks good to me. I'm thinking that's a typo for the motherboard part. Or at least I hope. Be sure to repost the motherboard lol.

For a gaming rig, both the i5 2500K and the i5 3570K will be good. Whatever you can get cheaper is what you buy. Otherwise, if it's the same price, I'd pick up the i5 3570K.

Yeah, but the i5 3570K has a 7-14% performance boost over the i5 2500K at a lower TDP and it has native USB 3.0. Doesn't matter all that much if you don't need every port on your PC to be USB 3.0, but might as well save some electricity if the price is the same.

True. But judging that he picked 2 K series CPU he will probably OC and he'll get more out of 2500K for that.

Go with the 3570K with either the GD65 or the UD3H.
Go with faster memory - G. Skill Ares 1866 8GB
The 670 is faster than the 7950 and it's only a few bucks more. ASUS 670
M4 is great but it's a bit slow compared to some other SSDs like the Vertex 4 and the Samsung 830. All of them are around the same price point.
The Antec 1100 for $99 and the CM 690 II for about $80 w/ rebate on Newegg

Will you be going with the i5 2500K or the i5 3570K? If you're going with the i5 3570K, you'll want to go with a Z77 board instead. Something like the Z77X UD3H instead.
